Granite Worktops
* Granite is highly receommeneded for Kitchens, due to it’s durability. Marble is not recommended as it is softer and more porous.
Adding granite to your kitchen adds elegance, and more importantly is very practical. For example, Granite is the number one choice for bakers as it is considered the best surface to use when you are making dough. It is almost impossible to scratch and is very stain resistant, so will last for years and years.
Granite will mix well with traditional and contempory design schemes, whether you are aiming for the look of a thatched cottage kitchen, or to use in a New York style loft apartment. The stone comes in a multitude of colours, blacks, whites, blues, greens, greys etc, and in multiple effect, i.e. speckled and grained.
Of course, as Granite is a natural material, each piece will be different with it’s own individuality and irregularities. We think this will make your kitchen all the more special and charming.
